Mouser now stocks JAE Electronics' DX4 waterproof Micro Connectors which are
compatible with the Micro-USB type 2.0 for small devices standardized by the
UBS Implementers Forum, Inc.
The DX4 Series features compatibility with the Universal Serial Bus
Micro-USB Cables and Connectors Specification Rev 1.01, superior rigidity
with high-strength stainless steel shells, and two-piece shell structure for
mid-mount type to prevent contact failure due to flux scattering during
reflow. With the associated silicone rubber gasket, this product becomes
IP65/67 rated, says the company.
