Versatile DC current / voltage sensor module sits between the monitored system and its input

The Parallax Inc high-side current sensor module is now available from RS Components. The device sits between the monitored system and its power supply input. It measures the voltage drop across a 100mohm series resistor and converts this analogue value to a digital number which a microcontroller can read via an I2C serial bus. The power supply voltage is also measured and is available as serial data. Operating from -40C to +125C it is supplied with a header and screw connector kit.
