Miniature sealed micro switches suitable for many demanding applications

Now available through TTI Europe, Honeywell's SE series and XE series miniature sealed basic switches. The components are designed for precise and reliable position indication of critical applications such as aircraft and defence systems. The switches are also suitable for other commercial and industrial applications where a degree of environmental sealing is required. SE Series switches include an SM basic switch. XE Series switches include the smaller SX Series basic switch. Benefiting from a miniature package size, SE series switches are certified by UL and CSA. XE series switches are certified by UL and qualified to the MIL-PRF-8805 standard. For design flexibility the devices feature a wide operating temperature range from -53C up to +105C with high temperature options up to 149C available. The components benefit from silver contacts for control of power duty circuits or gold contacts for control of logic level circuits. Pin plungers or auxiliary levers expand the functionality of the SE and XE series switches even further. Electrical connectivity options include solder post, pre-leaded with MIL-rated leadwire, or custom connectivity to decrease installation time.
