New BF-rated medical-grade 115W AC/DC power supplies

Power Sources Unlimited has introduced the PMAM115 Series of compact 115W AC/DC power supplies. The units are specifically designed for direct patient contact (BF Rated) medical applications (not life-support equipment) and meet 2x MOPP and EN/UL 60601-1 3rd edition safety standards. The single output PMAM115 Series are compact (2 x 4 x 1.3 inch) in size with an open-frame footprint that delivers 115W of continuous power with 7 CFM of forced air cooling. Output voltages are 12, 24 or 48VDC with a universal input range of 85–264VAC and efficiencies greater than up to 91%. Additional features include over-voltage, over-load and short-circuit protection, leakage current of <110µA maximum at 264VAC and an operating temperature range from 0C to +70C. The units have an MTBF of >100,000 hours at full load and 25C ambient calculated per MIL-HDBK-217F. Green Power design features <0.5W no load power consumption. The EMC performance meets EN55011 and FCC Class B standards and are also certified Class II construction for home health care and Class I with functional ground connection, says the company.
