Available now from Farnell element14, Freescale's Kinetis KL27 Series ultra
low-power Cortex M0+ MCU with USB is optimised for cost-sensitive and
battery-powered applications requiring USB connectivity with minimal power
consumption.
The MCUs feature a high-accuracy internal voltage and clock reference, while
the USB FS 2.0 device does not require an external crystal. They also offer
FlexIO to support any standard and customised serial peripheral emulation,
along with an embedded ROM with boot loader to enable flexible program
upgrading.
Due to these refinements, the KL27 series can offer power consumption levels
down to 54uA/MHz in ultra low-power run mode and 1.96uA in deep sleep mode
(RAM + RTC retained).
