Now available from Farnell element14, the Hittite Microwave HMC1023LP5E is a 6th-order, programmable bandwidth, fully calibrated, dual-low pass filter. Gain of 0 or 10 dB can be programmed and bandwidths from 5MHz to 72MHz are supported. It boasts bandwidth accuracy of ±2.5% when calibrated. The built-in filter bypass option enables wider bandwidths while maintaining programmed gain and common mode control settings. The device features an integrated ADC driver, programmable input impedance and adjustable output common mode voltage from 0.9V to 3V with a 2Vpp signal. The output common mode can be also be adjusted lower than 0.9V common mode to achieve a seamless interface while maintaining maximum performance. Programmable bias settings enable performance/power dissipation balances to be optimised for each application. The 6th-order Butterworth transfer function delivers superior stop band rejection while keeping the passband flat and minimizing group delay variation, says the company.
