Linear Technology's feature-packed LT8614 step-down regulator is now available from Farnell elemeny14. The device features proprietary Silent Switcher architecture which is designed to minimise EMI/EMC emissions while delivering high efficiency at frequencies up to 3MHz. The devices are supplied as a 3mm × 4mm QFN monolithic construction with integrated power switches. All necessary circuitry is already included, ensuring a solution with a minimal PCB footprint. The ultra-low 2.5µA quiescent current, with the output in full regulation, makes the LT8614 ideal for applications requiring highest efficiency at very small load currents - in applications such as automotive and industrial supplies, general-purpose step-down and GSM power supplies.
