Amplified basic pressure sensors assure sensitivity and accuracy

Honeywell ABP amplified basic pressure sensors are now available from Mouser. The piezo-resistive silicon pressure sensors offering a ratiometric analog or digital output for reading pressure over the specified full scale pressure span and temperature range. The ABP Series uses an on-board Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) to fully calibrate and temperature compensate for sensor offset, sensitivity, temperature effects and accuracy errors (including non-linearity, repeatability and hysteresis). Calibrated output values for pressure are updated at approximately 1kHz for analog and 2kHz for digital and are calibrated over the temperature range of 0C to 50C. Honeywell ABP sensors are characterized for operation from a single power supply of either 3.3VDC or 5.0VDC and measure gage and differential pressures.
