27-08-2015 | Mouser Electronics | Test & Measurement

A digitally controlled micro-opto-electromechanical system (MOEMS) spatial light modulator (SLM), the Texas Instruments (TI) DLP4710 digital micromirror device (DMD) is now available from Mouser. When coupled to an appropriate optical system, the DLP4710 DMD displays a very crisp and high quality image or video. DLP4710 is part of the chipset comprising of the DLP4710 DMD, DLPC3439 display controller and DLPA3000/DLPA3005 PMIC/LED drivers. The compact physical size of the DLP4710 coupled with the controller and the PMIC/LED driver provides a complete system solution that enables small form factor low-power and high-resolution HD displays. Applications include smart full HD projectors, mobile accessory full HD projectors, screenless displays, interactive displays, low-latency gaming displays and head-mounted displays.
