TDK's CLF-NI-D Series of rugged power inductors for use automotive
applications are now available from TTI Europe. The CLF7045NI-D wirewound
SMD power inductors feature high efficiency and reliability over a very wide
temperature range extending from -55C to +150C and offer rated inductance
values from 1µH to 470µH (E6 series).
Measuring just 7.4mm x 7mm x 4.5mm, the compact CLF7045NI-D types are
available for rated currents of 0.41A to 8.5A and offer DC resistance values
ranging from 9mohm to 1.20ohm.
The new products are qualified to AEC-Q200 and due to TDK's advanced
materials technology feature high heat resistance. A new bonding process for
the terminals enables a solderless structural design with improved
mechanical strength. The inductors are particularly suitable for
applications in demanding automotive environments such as the power supply
circuits of engine control modules (ECM) and ECUs for airbags, ABS, and
headlights.
