Featuring a one-piece silicone gasket and tongue-and-groove construction to
ensure IP65 compliance, Hammond's ergonomically-designed hand-held
enclosures are now stocked by Farnell element14.
The enclosures are moulded in flame-retardant -ABS plastic (FRABS), which is
UV stabilised, with a grey, over-moulded, soft plastic grip. The top cover
is recessed for a membrane display or keypad, while the front panel is an
integral part of the top half of the enclosure.
They are available in three sizes with a choice of two colours for the top
half - light grey (RAL 7035) or black (RAL 9011). The soft side 'grip'
plastic colour is grey (RAL 7012).
