Now available from TTI Europe, Cooper Bussmann Coiltronics MPI4040 Series miniature power inductors are high-frequency, high-current devices housed in an unusually small 4.7mm x 4.31mm x 1.2mm surface-mount package. The MPI4040 series offers a current range from 9A to32A, frequency range from 20kHz to 10MHz, and inductance range from 0.09µH to 4.7µH. Magnetically shielded, the power inductors handle high transient inrush current spikes and are halogen-free and RoHS compliant. Typical applications include handheld and mobile devices, portable media players, GPS/PDAs, MP3 players and battery operated devices.
