New low-cost radial-leaded through-hole current-sense resistors with ratings up to 5W

Stackpole's new BR series offers radial-leaded through-hole current-sense
resistors offering power ratings up to 5W. The BR series elevates the
resistive element off of the board for maximum cooling into the ambient air
and minimizing the amount of heat that must be dealt with at the board
level. The BR is available in 1W, 3W, and 5W power ratings, in values from 5
milliohms to 100 milliohms and in tolerances as low as 1%.
These performance characteristics make the BR series ideal for power
management in power supplies, small motors, industrial controls as well as
audio applications, robotics, and portable power tools.
