A new symmetric PFC module aimed to help vendors step up efficiency, drive down costs and make the most of next-gen UPS, Vincotech has introduced the release of the flowSPFC 0. The ultra-compact module packs a lot of power into a petit housing. With an efficiency rating ranging up to 99.2%, high performance and a low price, the flowSPFC 0 line can significantly cut manufacturers' overall system costs, says the company. The modules feature a novel symmetric PFC topology for three-phase applications that deliver 10 to 30kW. Equipped with the latest high-speed, 650 V IGBT chip technologies, flowSPFC 0 modules can serve to attain switching frequencies up to 75kHz. Integrated NTC thermistors for temperature monitoring and snubbing capacitors to improve EMC are built right into the housing. The new flowSPFC 0 modules come in compact, low-inductive flow 0 housings 12 mm in height. Press-fit pins as well as phase-change material are available on request. Both make assembly so much easier, and the phase-change material also improves thermal performance, says the company.
