Weald's LMJ series of high-reliability, cost-competitive screw-coupling
circular connectors is now available from Lane Electronics. Designed to
meet the requirements of MIL-C-5015, the IP67 rated circular connectors
target defence, transportation and demanding industrial applications. They
are available with aluminium alloy shells in 13 sizes and 10 shell styles.
LMJ circular connectors use a threaded coupling, a neoprene insert and
utilize as standard, silver-plated, non-removable, solder contacts and offer
an operating temperature range of -55C to +125C. Crimp and PCB tail contacts
are available with between 1 and 104 solder or crimp contacts. With a rated
voltage range of 250 to 4200VDC and 200 to 3000VAC, maximum current
capability is from 10 to 150A depending on size. The connectors are capable
of a minimum of 500 mating cycles.
LMJ connectors are available in various finishes, including RoHS-compliant
and cadmium-free types, and can be supplied with PG cable gland fittings and
360 degree EMC screen termination. As well as tooling, Lane offers a numbers
of accessories for the LMJ range including gaskets, cable clamps,
telescoping bushing and protective caps.
