New 40W and 60W DC-DC converters feature ultra-wide 4:1 input

Power Sources Unlimited (PSU) has introduced new and highly-efficient Cincon 40W ECLB40W and 60W ECLB60W Series DC-DC converters with ultra-wide 4:1 input range. The units are ideal for distributed power architectures, telecommunications, battery operated equipment and industrial applications, says the company. Housed in a rugged, six-sided shield metal case all units are compliant with the industry standard footprint measuring 52mm x 30.5mm x 10.2mm. Units offer single output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, 15VDC and dual outputs voltages of ±12, ±15VDC. Ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range of 9-36VDC and 18-75VDC. Standard features include high efficiency up to 92%, regulated outputs, remote on/off, 1500VDC I/O isolation, over temperature protection, over voltage/current protection and continuous short circuit protection. All models are RoHS compliant, carry CE mark and have IEC/EN/UL 60950-1 safety approvals. Optional heat sink, thermal pad and mounting hardware are also available.
