Compact high power density medical AC/DC switching power supply

Power Sources Unlimited has announced availability of the compact Cincon CFM300M Series open-frame medical AC/DC power supplies which provide 300W of regulated power. The CFM300M complies with international medical safety regulations per IEC/EN/UL 60601-1 3rd edition, 2x MOPP level and meets the radiated and conducted emission requirements for EN 55022 Class B and CISPR/FCC Part 15 Class B Measuring 76.2mm x 127mm x 35.12mm with a high-density up to 18W/inch3, the CFM300M series has a wide universal input voltage range of 90~264VAC and is available in single output voltages of 12, 24, 36, and 48VDC. All models feature a 5V Stand-By output and 12V fan output with very high efficiency up to 94% at 230Vac and allows ambient operating temperature range of –40C to 80C (derating above 40C). The modules are fully protected against output over-current, output over-voltage and over-temperature and continuous short-circuit conditions. CFM300M series also offers a very low no load power consumption (<0.3W) and extremely low leakage current (=300µA). Standard control functions include PS on/off and 5% adjustable output voltage.
