Eight new product ranges suit diverse application requirements

CamdenBoss has launched a host of new products including DIN-rail mounted terminal blocks, IP68 connectors, integrated LED panel-mount indicators with test circuits, control enclosures, control switches, ultrasonic transducers and solar panels. The offering includes high-quality range of DIN-rail mounted terminal blocks designed for use in home automation and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Available in 5mm and 5.08mm pitch flanged and non-flanged versions, the terminal blocks offer vertical and horizontal orientations with 6 to 12 poles as standard (up to 24 available on special order), six ranges in seven pole sizes and UL approval. The DIN Rail mounting system accommodates both 35mm top hat and 32mm G-rails as standard. A new range of IP68 connectors includes in-line and panel-mount connectors, T-connectors and junction boxes. The heavy-duty, waterproof, robust connectors offer high quality at low cost with an integrated terminal block design so there are no small parts that might be dropped, making them ideal for field cable joining applications. Colour-coded screws / terminals make installation easier while Braille points facilitate installation in low light conditions. A new range of integrated panel-mount indicators features test circuits to provide the highest product integrity. Ideal for use in safety-critical applications, the integrated test circuit enables self-testing functions to be incorporated into panel designs that need to prevent operation in the event of indicator failure on critical functions. A new range of one-, two- and three-button control enclosures is offered in standard and compact sizes. They are IP65 rated in flame-retardant yellow and grey ABS as standard. They can be supplied with or without an internal DIN-rail and feature knockouts to accommodate PG 13.5 or ISO 20 glands. The single-button box has a 12mm knockout in base while the two and three button versions have two 16mm knockouts in base. A new range of control switches includes a complete range of switch elements, base plates, indicator modules and actuators. Extremely cost-competitive, the two and three position rotary actuators offer key switches, key-release emergency stops, illuminated switches in various styles and colours, 2-way switches with or without illumination and comply with IEC 947-5-1 and EN 60 947-5-1. Metal bases are standard with plastic bases available on request. A comprehensive new range of high-quality UK manufactured solar panels includes both standard and super lightweight versions. Available on short lead times with full technical support in the UK, the panels are based on RoHS-compliant solar cells while flexible ISO9001 and ISO14001 certified UK manufacturing allows custom product options. The company also introduced a new range of industry-standard 40kHz ultrasonic transducers providing a cost-competitive solution with fast delivery. Transmitter and receiver variants are available. The latest terminal block range - CamBlock Plus - cost-effectively offers all the benefits of the company's original industry-leading CTB series terminal blocks, the new CamBlock Plus range is ideal where European approvals are required but where price is also an important factor.
