Multi-function LCD segment driver for frequency display in electronic tuners

The ROHM BU91501KV-ME2 is a multi-function LCD segment driver in 64 pin VQFP package. It is available now from Farnell element14. The device is 1/4 or 1/3-duty general-purpose LCD driver that can be used for frequency display in electronic tuners under the control of a microcontroller. The device can drive up to 204 LCD segments directly and control up to 4 general-purpose output ports and up to 30 key input detection. It does not require any external components and has a low power consumption design. Typical applications include car audio, home electrical appliance and meter equipment.
