Wirewound 2W SMD resistance values now available up to 1Kohm

Stackpole Electronics has expanded the resistance value range of its SM4527 2W surface-mount moulded wirewound resistor.

Previously, resistance values were limited to 0.01ohm to 0.05ohm - now, the robust SM45727 Series offers values up 1kohm in tolerances of 1% and 5%. This expansion allows for this popular size to be used for a wider range of applications that require a 2W surface-mount resistor with the robust electrical performance and exceptional TCR that wirewound technology provides, says the company.
