AndersDX are continuing to meet demand for passive mono displays from smart meter, medical and industrial customers with the announcement of a new partnership with Shenzhen-based Techshine. Techshine currently has three TN/STN display production lines in operation and is planning a fourth in 2017.
Commenting, Paul Hooper, display group manager at AndersDX, says, “We are still seeing strong demand for mono displays but many larger manufacturers have either pulled out of the market or announced plans to do so. andersDX has identified Techshine as a strong, high quality supplier that is investing in this passive display technology, allowing us to offer our customers a source for mono displays for as long as they continue to need them.”
He continued, “There are opportunities to supply mono displays both into new designs and to customers whose existing suppliers are discontinuing their support. By partnering with Techshine, AndersDX is keeping this option open for our customers for the foreseeable future.”
Sebastien Caballoue, overseas sales director of Techshine commented, “Techshine sees a great opportunity to supply customers who value low power consumption, low cost, long service life, readability and ease of integration that passive mono displays offer. Indeed some of these markets such as smart metering are growing ever stronger we are excited to have the opportunity to work with AndersDX, a highly respected partner who understands our proposition, and has strong relationships in the European market.”
