Bridge rectifier diode series offers industry-leading capabilities

08-12-2016 | Bourns | Power

Bourns five new bridge rectifier product series is designed for power and switch-mode power supply applications. The products come in ultra-low profile packages of 1mm to 1.4mm making them well-suited for use in high-density board designs, and also for mounting onto the bottom side of PCBAs where necessary. The company’s CD-MBL and CD-DF4 bridge rectifiers offer exceptional high forward current and low forward voltage making them optimum solutions for converting AC to DC in power applications. These features allow designers to meet compact, high efficiency design requirements avoiding the need to specify larger diodes for higher current applications. Similarly, their CD-HD Schottky bridge rectifiers provide exceptionally low forward voltage in a space-saving package enabling developers of set-top boxes, monitors, cable modems and other AC-operated products to achieve power-efficient designs.
