New high quality, high-gloss handheld enclosures

OKW has launched STYLE-CASE, a new range of high-gloss ergonomic handheld enclosures for OEM electronics. The range is ideal for remote controls – notably in medical and social care but also in many household, office and industrial applications. Its modern high-gloss finish is pleasant to touch, imparts a high quality user experience and is also easy to keep clean. The range is assembled using tamper-proof Torx screws – an important feature for medical and wellness applications. Its operating panel is recessed to accommodate a membrane keypad or product label. There is an integrated battery compartment for two 1.5VAA cells. It is accessible from the outside (via the bottom section) and features a screw-closed lid. The enclosures are moulded from high quality traffic white (RAL 9016) ASA for enhanced UV stability or black (RAL 9005) PMMA for infrared permeability. Both plastics are rated UL 94 HB for flammability.
