Trio of panel-mount power supplies suitable for electrical appliance applications

Luso has announced availability of Delta Electronics’ PMH series of panel-mount power supplies, which offers units with three distinct power ratings of 50W, 100W and 200W, specifically designed for electrical appliances such as coffee machines, vending machines and general use in households. The PMH-24V50WCAA, PMH-24V100WCAA and PMH-24V200WCBA are the respective units, and come with a number of approvals for both safety and EMC. Safety approvals for units within the series include IEC/EN60335-1, IEC/EN61558-1 and IEC/EN61558-2-16; EMC approvals include EN55014-1 and EN55014-2 for appliances without an extra EMI filter required. All the supplies feature a universal 85VAC to 264VAC input voltage and a nominal 24V voltage output. The 50W and 100W units deliver full power operation between ambient temperatures of –20C to +50C at altitudes up to 5000m, whereas the 200W unit offer full power operation from –20C to +45C. The series features a range of connector options for all three units, including terminal block, IP20, front face and harness types. All three units are available in full corrosion-resistant aluminium casing with consistent width and depth dimensions of 97mm x 38mm, and lengths of 98mm, 158mm and 190mm for the units, respectively. Finally, all the units offer a high MTBF of greater than 700,000 hours, as per Telcordia SR-332.
