Available now from RS Components, is the Espressif ESP-WROOM-02. The device is a low-power 32-bit MCU WiFi module. This small SMD module integrates the ESP8266EX WiFi chip and is designed for optimal RF performance. The device enables you to evaluate and further develop the device for you chosen application.
This module features a low-power mode. When operating at DTIM10 it will only consume 1.2mW with WiFi connection. The device operated with a frequency range of 2.4GHz to 2.5GHz.
With a footprint of just 18mm x 20mm, the module is ideal for integration into compact devices, where space may be limited.
