Toshiba Electronics Europe has released the TCR3UG series of small package, LDO regulators with an output current of 300mA. The devices are suitable for power management of wearable devices, IoT modules and smartphones. Housed in the small WCSP4F package, which measures 0.645mm x 0.645mm with a maximum thickness of 0.33mm, the series helps to reduce the size and thickness of mobile devices that is necessary for some applications such as smart cards. The new LDO regulators are ideal for use as part of the power supply in applications requiring long battery life, as well as those that are susceptible to fluctuations or noise in the supply voltage. The series is available with 31 output voltages, ranging from 0.8V to 5.0V. Also, variants with and without automatic output discharge are available, allowing developers to simply select the device that best meets the application's requirements.
