New 24mm potentiometer capable of up to one million shaft revolutions

Bourns has released a new 24mm potentiometer developed for use in light industrial applications including communications, clean energy test and measurement and select medical and diagnostic equipment. Providing the high reliability and long cycle life required for these applications, the PDF241 potentiometer features various flatted and slotted shaft lengths and a long-life carbon element that is capable of up to one million shaft revolutions. The latest potentiometer has a 0.5W power rating and IP40 dust seal rating. It also features an extended temperature (-10C to +85C) operating range, anti-rotation pin and metal shaft, and is offered in a variety of standard resistance values and audio or linear tapers. Available in a bushing mount configuration with standard solder lugs, the new long-life potentiometer offers a highly-versatile panel mount solution that delivers excellent reliability and durability.
