Mouser – New sensors are available for both automotive and industrial applications

Texas Instruments mmWave sensors provide both automotive and industrial options. Sensing is simplified utilising the mmWave SDK to leverage and evaluate sensing projects in less than 30 minutes. These sensors are now available from Mouser. Spatial and velocity resolution can identify up to three times more than traditional solutions. CMOS single-chip sensors shrink design size by combining an RF front-end with a DSP and MCU. The AWR series of automotive mmWave sensors improve driving experiences, making them safer and simpler by analysing as well as reacting to the nearby environment. The IWR series of industrial mmWave sensors offer unprecedented accuracy and robustness by detecting range, velocity, and angle of objects.
