LoRa and LoRaWAN solutions for intelligent monitoring applications

09-10-2018 | Advantech | Test & Measurement

Advantech has expanded its range of wireless products with the launch of the WISE-6610 LoRaWAN gateway and Wzzard LRPv2 LoRa WAN node. As the need for intelligent monitoring and warning systems increases, the company understands the difficulty associated in replacing or rewiring existing devices. As such systems are frequently installed in remote areas or harsh environments, it is crucial that any wireless data communication solutions provide a rugged enclosure and flexible software design. Wzzard LRPv2 Node is a highly integrated LoRaWAN sensing platform for applications ranging from I/O sensor data management to network protocol conversion. The node can be employed to create a private sensor network, generating immediate dividends by decreasing maintenance costs while increasing overall productivity. The gateway connects to a user’s application server or SCADA for data access using the MQTT protocol.
