Next generation series of programmable DC power supplies extended

TDK Corporation has introduced high power GSP models to the TDK-Lambda GENESYS+ series of programmable DC power supplies. This expansion now offers 2U high 10kW and 3U high 15kW versions with output voltages and currents of up to 0-10V/1,500A to 0-600V/25.5A. The series meets a very wide market, including component, semiconductor fabrication, aerospace and automotive testing, water treatment, plating and solar array simulation. Utilising DSP technology, these next-generation units offer increased efficiency, performance and functionality over current products, with efficiencies of up to 92%. The 20 new high power models can be programmed to run in constant voltage, constant current or constant power modes and also provide the capability to simulate an internal resistance for battery charging and long output cable voltage drop applications. The units are offered for use with three-phase 170 to 265Vac, 342 to 460Vac or 342 to 528Vac inputs. All models feature an easy to read LCD with user-controllable brightness and dimming functions for extended life. The five-year warranty series is safety certified to IEC/EN/UL 60950-1, CE marked to the Low Voltage, EMC and RoHS2 Directives and conforms to the industrial IEC/EN 61326-1 standard for conducted EMI, radiated EMI and EMC immunity.
