Robust modular DIN-Rail system for tailor-made applications

The DIN-Rail concept is modular and ideal for a broad range of embedded IoT applications. MEN has now extended the family concept to incorporate a CPU module for industrial automation, an expansion module for serial communication and a memory module for storage intensive applications. The MC50I computer platform is the perfect partner for embedded applications in industrial automation. The module has an Intel Atom E3900 series CPU and provides low power dissipation and scalability in performance and memory. Further functions such as the board management controller or the trusted platform module offer extended security for the application. The ME2 data storage module is a modular extension for DIN-Rail systems. The integrated shuttle is ideal for a 2.5" SATA hard disk/SSD. For higher storage capacity, two ME2 modules with up to 8TB can be combined in one system. The main applications for this series include predictive maintenance, diagnostic servers, IoT gateways, intelligent vehicles, passenger information and ticketing systems.
