Lane Electronics now supplies the Weald Electronics LMV series of mains power circular connectors. The range is manufactured in the UK to IEQC-CECC spec BS/CECC 75201-004. The maximum current capability extends from 7.5A to 32A, and they are ideal for direct, three-way mains connections in 250VAC or DC applications including CE marked assemblies.
The range has a brass shell, and the company can provide the connector in multiple finishes including RoHS compliant and Cadmium free as well as Zinc Cobalt Black. The range is offered in two shell sizes in a mixture of free and fixed shell styles incorporating cable mount, fixed square and oval flange panel mount and cable mounted coupler. The three solder bucket contacts – earth, live and neutral – are all gold-plated.
The shells are earthed, offer finger proof live and neutral contacts and have the safety of a leading earth contact. The company can also provide EMC 360-degree screen termination versions. Also offered are strain relief backshells with a cable clamp plus protective caps and a full range of tooling.
