Connection system ideal for harsh environment applications

The Aptiv CTCS connection system, available now from TTI Europe, is an excellent solution for harsh environment applications. The connector and terminal families have been created to satisfy the exacting requirements of commercial and heavy-duty applications, particularly to address new emission regulations and allow the generation of environmentally-friendly vehicles.

A system offers a complete portfolio of connectors, accessories, terminals, seals, and hand crimp tools providing interchangeable with other industry terminals. The system offers mounting flexibility through panel, strap/clip, and bracket options. All are offered in both non-V0 and V0 materials and provide improved vibration resistance up to 30G sine, 20 Grms random 330hrs/axis. The robust back shells are suitable for temperatures up from -40C to +140C. The system offers additional connector shielding for protection against debris ingress. The system meets or exceeds a wide range of commercial vehicle validation standards.

The system is ideal for cab, chassis, engine compartment, and on-engine applications.
