OKW Enclosures METCASE now provides a broader range of standard and customised 19” aluminium enclosures for desktop and portable instrumentation.
Its new TECHNOMET 19” mini-rack enclosures and INSTRUMET 19” cases provide solutions for test and measurement, laboratory instrumentation, industrial computers, networking and communications, sound/audio systems and industrial control.
Innovative and robust this 19” enclosure is the most advanced enclosure ever created by the company, setting new standards of a cohesive design. Diecast bezels front and rear fit flush with the main case body; there are no visible fixing screws.
Both models provide smart design for swift and easy installation of 19” subracks, chassis and front panels. They offer threaded M4 pillars for earth connections and ventilation in the base and rear panels. The enclosure is provided with ABS side handles and non-slip feet. The case has ABS tilt feet, and an optional a tilt/swivel carry handle that doubles as an ergonomic desk stand.
TECHNOMET 19” is provided in three standard sizes (3U, 4U and 6U heights, 400mm deep) and two standard colours are anthracite (RAL 7016) and light grey (RAL 7035). INSTRUMET 19” is offered in one height (3U) with an option of two widths: 10.5” or 19”, in depths of 350 or 450mm. Standard colours are light grey (RAL 7035)/window grey (RAL 7040).
