Infrared emitters provide high power and high efficiency

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors OSLON P1616 Infrared (IR) Emitters, available now from Mouser, are double-stack emitters that feature an IR light source. These infrared emitters are intended to afford high power and high efficiency. The IR emitters are available in 850nm and 940nm centroid wavelengths with a clear silicone package. These IR emitters operate at -40C to 105C temperature range.

The IR emitters derive their applications in access control systems, including IRIS/vein scan and face recognition.

Typical applications include CCTV surveillance, gesture recognition, eye tracking, and security.
