Lane Electronics now offers Weald Electronics' new family of backshells for MIL-DTL-26482 Series 1 and MIL-DTL-38999 Series III and IV connector systems.
The LMA19 series are sealing and strain relief backshells which are offered in many sizes and a variety of RoHS compliant finishes. User who need connector systems that satisfy the requirements of MIL-DTL-26482/38999 will find a variety of sizes and finishes are available from the company.
The product has been designed to protect the integrity of the cable and the connection, with the backshells offering cable support to stop bending and over flexing as well as protection against the ingress of water and dirt when employed with a heat shrink boot.
These products are two-part components which provide uncoupling for inspection and repairs without damaging the boot.
The series backshells feature full 360-degree screening against EMI/RFI interference and are supplied with a tool-free constant force spring or band strap.
