Connector system aids future-proof smart street lighting

Mouser now stocks the LUMAWISE Endurance S connector system from TE Connectivity. Comprising of products developed for sensors and other control systems, the keyed system offers a standardised ecosystem that allows great flexibility in applications including street and area lighting, roadway lighting, commercial outdoor lighting, and city management systems.

This connector system offers multiple key combinations, with a standardised interface between the receptacle and sealing cap or module base. The versatile system incorporates various base and dome combinations, with an integrated single gasket that can fit and seal both module and luminaire employing the same connection interface for 40mm and 80mm central management systems. The system is field upgradeable, enabling users to easily upgrade existing luminaires.

The system is Zhaga Book 18 certified, features a 5A and 250V contact rating with a 10kV dielectric withstand voltage (hipot) rating to the mounting surface. The IP66- and IK09-rated receptacle assembly, base and dome combinations offer a sealed electrical interface and robust, impact-resistant packaging solution.
