Low ESR capacitors series offers small design and high capacitance

Panasonic Industry Europe has added the FN series, a low ESR Aluminium Electrolytic capacitors Surface Mount type, to its product line-up. Supplying a rated voltage of 6.3VDC to 100VDC, the new series provides wide capacitance values (10µF up to 1800µF), which are between 20% and 80% higher than the long-running FK series.

With 2000 hours lifetime at a rated temperature range from -55C to +105C and low ESR feature, the series is the solution provider to numerous different applications. The compact design adds to space-saving on the PCB. The low ESR characteristics make the latest capacitor series ideal for industrial applications including measuring instruments, information and communication technology and also infotainment applications.

Vibration-proof variants of the series can also be supplied. With a vibration resistance of 30G, a smooth board design in demanding automotive applications or harsh industrial environment can be guaranteed. The components are RoHS compliant.
