Available now from Lane Electronics, the Weald Electronics LMH range of bayonet coupling connectors is developed specifically to satisfy the requirements of MIL-DTL-26482 Series 1 as well as Patt 105 and is manufactured to IECQ-CECC spec BS/CECC 75201-003 and BS 9522 F0017. Subsequently, the connectors are ideal for a wide variety of defence and demanding industrial applications, including communications and test and measurement.
The versatile range of multi-pin circular connectors can be provided in nine shell sizes, and 25 shell styles and standard connectors can be offered with two to 61 contacts.
The connector shells are manufactured from aluminium alloy and, as standard, they offer high resistance to corrosion due to an olive drab chromate conversion over a Zinc Cobalt, RoHS compliant plating finish. Other finishes provided include Cadmium, black Zinc Nickel and electroless Nickel.
An often-overlooked benefit of the manufacture is the bonding of the solder contacts during assembly. This offers a through-connector seal even when unmated and each connector is leak-tested at 1bar through final assembly.
The company further supports the range of standard circular connectors with a choice of accessories including panel sealing gaskets, backshells and protective caps created to the same exacting standards.
