Cinch Connectivity Solutions has expanded the Johnson SMPM and SMP PCB Surface Mount connector families.
The blind-mate connectors offer exceptional RF performance, up to 26.5GHz, and are provided in smooth bore, limited detent, and full detent versions. This surface mount style product expansion complements the company's existing thru-hole offering. The contact and body material conform to DSCC 94007, 94008, and MIL-STD-348 specifications. The rugged design accommodates both radial and axial misalignment that is often caused by shock and vibration in defence and harsh environment applications.
This popular surface mount style is often employed in many PCB applications such as IC chip development and testing, test and measurement systems, instrumentation test fixture equipment, LAN routers, and base stations, satellite communication equipment, phased array, airborne and ground radar systems, and MIMO and active antennas.
