The FLIR A500-EST thermal cameras, available now from RS Components, are non-contact screening tools that offer a first line of defence against potential health risks. These thermal screening solutions detect and visualise heat to swiftly identify individuals with a high skin temperature.

The device offers an integrated web browser with intuitive interface for simple camera set-up. Included is standard Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity, and Power over Ethernet for single-cable installation. The device integrates easily into web services with RESTful API over XML or JSON, while ONVIF compliance includes standard security VMS and NVR solutions. Calibration with ambient drift compensation enables accurate screening without a reference. It also offers support for external blackbody compensation.

The cameras can be connected to most Video Management Systems and are compatible with FLIR Screen-ESTTM Desktop software.
