Artesyn Embedded Technologies' Advanced Energy’s iHP is designed for a wide range of medical, industrial, lighting/horticulture and semiconductor applications. It is a configurable precision power system providing accuracy, resolution and stability as a programmable voltage or current source. It offers up to 24kW in 3kW increments and can be configured for up to eight outputs employing a wide assortment of plug-in modules that address a large range of voltages and currents.
Safety approvals secured by the company remove the requirement for an isolation transformer in medical equipment. The power system also provides industrial safety approvals, including compliance to the SEMI F47 standard for semiconductor processing equipment.
The system gives developers an analog or digital interface to their system supporting standard communications protocols, while a software GUI provides for easy configuration and user dashboard creation. For horticulture clients, detailed scheduling and control software is offered. For non-medical applications, a smaller and lighter rack is now available utilising the same plug-in modules.
