Power supply for adapter development kit

The Power Integrations RDK-669, available now from RS Component, describes the 5W/5V adapter power supply using its LNK625DG. Input is 85VAC to 265VAC. The document includes the power supply specification, schematic, transformer documentation, performance data and EMI scan.

The solution offers a low parts count solution, with auto-restart, output short-circuits, open-loop and over-temperature protection and primary side regulated.

The device meets EN55022 EMI standards.
