Amphenol Industrial Operations offers standard Max-M12 series, available now from RS Components, based on IEC 61076-2-101 and SAE J2839. To save assembly time, it provides several different mounting options (front or back lock/flange) and wire termination styles (solder/crimp/screw).
To ensure high performance in harsh environments, the company offers plating solutions that provide salt spray protection from 48 to 240 hours. Featuring resistance to high vibration/mechanical shock with an IP67 rating makes the product an excellent solution for signal and data transmission.
Features and Benefits include a 90-degree right angle and straight connectors. They are available as stand-alone connectors and cable assemblies (standard and overmoulded). The terminals can be terminated to 0.8mm2 (18 AWG) or 0.5mm2 (20 AWG) conductors as defined by SAE J1128 and 0.75mm2 and 0.5mm2 conductors as defined by ISO 6722. The devices are backwards compatible with IEC 61076-2-101 (M12). The product is SAE J 2839 Compliant and RoHs Compliant.
