Heavy-duty and modular connector series offers over 500 types of inserts

The Smiths Interconnect HDC is a standard, heavy-duty, modular connector series that conforms to IEC60664 and IEC61984 standards. It is available now from TTI Europe. Through the combination of different modules picked by the designer, the connector can manage different signal types such as power, signal, and data, with no need for separate connections. This flexibility makes the HDC series ideal for the electrical, radio frequency, optical, high-current, high-voltage, high-speed transmission for rail transportation, heavy machinery, wind energy, power systems, and photovoltaic and engineering equipment industries.

The modular design offers over 500 types of inserts enabling the series to continuously expand functions according to the demands of the application. Pre-assembled cables provide for higher production throughout. It offers a reduced cost of ownership through high performance and low maintenance.
