Linx Technologies has introduced a series of SMP RF connectors that provide excellent high-frequency performance. A perfect solution for making board-to-board connections, the Linx SMP connectors combine compact size and a convenient snap-on mating interface to offer a reliable, easy-to-use connection.

These connectors excel in various applications, including cellular IoT (LTE-M/Cat-M1 and NB-IoT), cellular LTE, WiFi 6/6E, GNSS, radar, satellite communications, industrial, commercial, experimental, and enterprise applications. The new Linx SMP connectors are available in various types and configurations, including plugs, jacks, straight, and right angles. The board mount connectors are provided in both surface mount and through-hole attachment versions, while the cable terminated options are designed with .047 semi-rigid coaxial cables. The company also offers SMA to SMP and SMP to SMP adapters, giving flexibility in design and integration via a range of solution options.

The SMP connectors are gold plated to give superior corrosion resistance. Furthermore, all connectors meet RoHS lead-free standards and are tested to meet corrosion resistance, vibration, mechanical, and thermal shock requirements.
