Mikroe Mikromedia 5 for PIC32MZ Capacitive FPI with Bezel, available now from Mouser, enables rapid development of multimedia and GUI-centric applications. The mikromedia 5 employs the Microchip PIC32MZ2048EFH144 microcontroller, which delivers sufficient processing power for the most challenging tasks.

The device features SB, WiFi, and RF connectivity options, a digital motion sensor, battery-charging functionality, piezo-buzzer, and an SD card reader. It provides three mikroBUS Shuttle connectors, a variation to the mikroBUS standard form of a 2 x 8-pin IDC header with 1.27mm (50mil) pitch. The device has a 5" TFT display with a capacitive touch screen driven by the powerful graphics controller to display the 24-bit colour palette.

The kit contains a damage-resistant protective box, Mikromedia 5 for PIC32MZ capacitive FPI with bezel, adapter USB-C female to USB-A male, USB cable, board schematic, and user manual.
