Evaluation board development platform demonstrates CATV amplifier

Qorvo QPL1820EVB01 Evaluation Board, available now from Mouser, is a demonstration and development platform for the QPL1820 75-Ohm CATV Amplifier. The device is an ultra-linear GaAs pHEMT differential RF amplifier featuring 22dB of flat gain. It provides a 50MHz to 1800MHz frequency range offering an ideal solution for broadband CATV DOCSIS 4.0 applications, including nodes, amplifiers, and remote PHY devices, as well as FTTH, home gateways, and cable modems.

The evaluation board offers a pre-installed QPL1820 in a 5mm x 5mm laminate module. 75-Ohm F-connectors are provided for RFIN and RFOUT, and headers allow access to key signals. The board offers an example application circuit, enabling rapid prototyping when integrated into existing designs.
