Metcase’s tough Unidesk aluminium enclosures for desktop and wall-mount applications challenge plastic housings.
These robust sloping-front enclosures are excellent for office systems, medical devices, PoS, industrial/machine control, security, access control, and other electronics and electro-technical terminals.
The smart, modern enclosure has a large front panel (accessory) recessed to accommodate a membrane keypad. The flat rear panel may be machined to make apertures for connectors, switches and power inlets. The base has pre-punched PCB fixing points.
It can be supplied with or without an IP54 sealing gasket in three standard widths (200mm, 300mm and 400mm) – creating three standard sizes from 200mm x 200mm x 102mm to 400mm x 200mm x 102mm. Custom widths are simple to manufacture thanks to enclosure's design.
Light grey (RAL 7035) and black (RAL 9005) are two standard colours. Custom colours are also offered (at no premium if an ‘always in stock’ colour is selected). The company supplies the enclosures pre-assembled with four non-slip rubber feet and stainless steel M3 Torx T10 and MS M3 Pozidriv fixings.
Accessories include front panels, wall mounting kits, a PCB mounting kit, and M3 PCB/panel fixing screws. All enclosures can be fully customised.
