Leuze's LCAM 308 IP camera monitors hidden areas on stacker cranes and conveyor lines. This enables operators of logistics centres to reliably trace back events and rectify faults swiftly and efficiently.
Even in modern logistics centres, it is not always possible to completely rule out faults. However, system operators can take steps to protect against this. The new camera records the 60 seconds prior to a fault in full HD. This allows events to be easily traced back, essential if you want to rectify a malfunction quickly and efficiently. The camera is flexible and ideal for visually monitoring hidden areas on stacker cranes and conveyor lines.
System operators are prepared for every situation thanks to the broad range of functions. For example, a live stream in HD resolution can be called up if needed. Also, the snapshot mode permits individual images to be captured, such as the content of a box. This element can be utilised throughout order picking to document whether the goods in the box were complete. Standard browsers or streaming tools are all required for transmitting the 60-second recording or the live stream, and no extra software is needed. Operators are also spared having to deal with a flood of data. The camera has a ring memory so the period before and after an event remains saved.
With its rugged metal housing, it offers an IP65 protection rating. Dovetail, threaded holes, and a wide range of mounting accessories allow universal installation.
